Type 1: Traveling alone.

Here is where you find that you need some time off. Privacy is what you need. Maybe you want to take a good rest. You are planning a vacation for the entire family. 4 to 6 people is the size of a typical family. You will need a medium sized villa for the family, with about 3 to 4 rooms. That will cost you between $500 to $1000 a night. It's a huge jump from type 1 vacation packages. That's because there are probably 2 to 3 times as many people. Rentals aside, other costs such as food and entertainment will also rise proportionately.

Type 3: More than 6.

This is a little rare but it happens. You may find yourself traveling in a huge group. For example, if you are the CEO of a successful company, you may plan for a corporate retreat for all your top sales people. Since they are your sales force, you want to give them the best treatment ever. So you plan for a luxury vacation. A villa that will accommodate such a large group easily cost $1000 and up a night. So you are planning for such a vacation, make sure that you have deep pockets to dig into!
